Shannone began acting when she was in the 5th grade. Her family moved to Pennsylvania and she joined Phazz 1, an acting and drama group there. Always very lively and expressive, Shannone enjoyed learning yet another way of expressing herself, as she played various roles in small skits, as well as stepping in the step team.
Several years later, when she moved to New York, Shannone began trying out for off-broadway plays and securing roles in musical theater. She began taking acting classes at Black Nexxus, Inc. in Manhattan, NY, headed by famed acting coach, Susan Batson. She landed a leading role as the quirky musician, Reign Regan, in the upcoming feature film, "The Butterfly Chasers," a romantic comedy written and directed by Princeton E. Holt.
She is currenly starring in Ramona King's Steal Away play, directed by Michael DeBradley in Newark, NJ. The play will open November 29, 2007. For more information, email info@shannoneholt.com.
